Goldenrod is most famously for its amazing allergy benefits, it can help support us during allergy season, especially for “drippy” symptoms, like a steady dripping nose, weepy eyes, and just pesky congestion that won’t seem to go anywhere—goldenrod helps immensely to dry it up.
It also has incredible antibacterial qualities. This can be helpful in a variety of areas, such as sore/strep throat, leaky gut, and also UTI’s (urinary tract infections.)
Goldenrod has an affinity for stagnant digestion, and can help stimulate the digestive tract to get things moving.
Since goldenrod is very drying, it is helpful to make sure to pair it with a bit of moisture if your symptoms tend to be a dry cough/congestion. Mullein pairs really well with goldenrod as the mullein helps loosen things up and gets them flowing, and then the goldenrod can come in and dry it up.

Good day. I've only tried it a couple times as I didnt know if I should try it while taking the actual anti depression meds I'm already on. The taste is terrible lol. But seems to work. I havent had my son try the allergy one yet. Hes been struggling with a terrible cough for 2 weeks now
Hi Aleesha! I'm glad to hear the blue vervain worked well for you, it is considered safe to take with other medications. The taste of it is definitely very bitter and not the most pleasant, but it needs to be in order for it to be effective and potent enough to work.
